can a virus cause me to not be able to connect to the internet? my DSL hasn't worked in a week and my internet people ran tests on my modem and said everything is fine on that end. he said it has to be a problem inside my computer. i ran scans but nothing is showing up as a problem. i have a firewall and virus software so i don't see how it could be a virus causing this but i'm sure it's possible. i'm using the back up dial up and it sucks. i mailed some pictures the other day and it took 10 minutes to send. it's frustrating because i have no idea what is wrong or how to fix it.
